tondi paintings produced between 2015 and 2017

 

Description

Schulz produced the first two tondi as part of a mobile installation for the Espace Louis Vuitton during the 56th Biennale in Venice in 2015. The following years he produced a series of paintings varying in size and style.
All of the tondi revolve around ideas of breakup, fracturing, cutting, covering.
