Description

FORMSCHÖN deals with two central paradigms of Europe’s 20th century history—formalism and socialist realism, reflected and interpreted from a nowadays perspective through the artist’s personal history and experiences. It looks back into the times of the modernist utopia and the ideological struggles and also opens up a discussion about re-contextualisation and representation of contemporary art and its conceptual and formal sides.
