Title:
Stage Diver
Wiener Secession, Vienna, 2008
Description
Tilo Schulz specifically designed an architecture for the lower three exhibition spaces of the Vienna Secession. It combined different role models of representational architecture: Visitors had to step on stage, walk through the cabinet to end up on a cat walk in another stage-like situation. A strange grey wall paper defined a space at the end with Thonet chairs positioned like actors. In the inner part of the architecture colourful drawings could be found evoking metaphors of passage, frontier, dualism.
