Description

With a challenging installation Schulz transforms two galleries at The Model. Made out of material of past exhibitions (like General Idea or Leibach) and found material from outside the museum the collage-like ceiling resembles shanty towns as well as self-made tree houses. There are four sound pieces and a video incorporated into the ceiling related to a sculpture Schulz installed earlier on the river in Sligo: an overloaded boat–metaphor of freedom to travel and compulsion of flight and expulsion.
